CellTrak Cares Adopts Families for the Holidays
Industry leader helps bring warmth and compassion to local families
Schaumburg, IL (December 5, 2011) - CellTrak Technologies, Inc. the leading provider of mobile technologies for home and community care market located in Schaumburg, IL and with Canadian operations located in Cambridge, Ontario, has been in business since 2006. This year the employees at CellTrak decided to forego a traditional holiday party and instead donate their time and funds to adopting several local families. While CellTrak employees regularly volunteer in their communities, the adoption of local families was different and special as they worked with the Schaumburg Township to identify and select four local families with needs for the holidays.
The team of over 30 CellTrak employees donated their holiday party to the shopping efforts for the families and 19 total family members. Shopping throughout the Schaumburg greater area, the CellTrak team divided into 5 shopping teams with a budget and a list of gifts to get. The teams visited Woodfield Mall, The Streets of Woodfield, Target, Wal-Mart, Kohl's, Dick's Sporting Goods and the local mobile phone stores in the area in search of the gifts for the adopted families.
Barb McGinn, Executive Assistant of the Schaumburg Township offices shared, "This is a very impressive number of gifts for our needy families. I am sure all who receive them will be delighted."
Together the CellTrak team invested over $1,500 and spent the evening shopping, wrapping, gift tagging and delivering over 51 gifts for the families to the Schaumburg Township offices.
