Mobile-First Care Delivery and Field Force Management Solution Leader Adds Growth Stage Software and Healthcare IT Experience to Management Team

Schaumburg, IL (January 19th, 2015) – CellTrak Technologies, Inc., the leading provider of care delivery and field force management solutions for the home care and hospice industries, announced Mark Battaglia as President and Chief Executive Officer (CEO), effective immediately. Battaglia’s top priority is to continue CellTrak’s growth by enhancing the breadth and depth of its software-as-a-service solution, expanding its distribution capabilities, and helping customers maximize the value they receive from deploying the solution.

CellTrak’s solution includes apps that all types of caregivers install on mobile devices, portals that providers use to better manage care delivery in real time and to improve workforce productivity over time, and interfaces to electronic health records and back office systems. It improves the quality of care delivery, enables regulatory compliance, and reduces costs.

In 2014 CellTrak added industry leading hospice and homecare providers across the US, Canada and Europe to its customer base, and in the fourth quarter of the year achieved its 25th consecutive quarter of growth and record revenues. During the year, the company achieved a major milestone in number of implemented healthcare users and visits processed; extended its industry leading mobile solution with industry-first double verification features using GPS and NFC; was awarded its fourth patent; and expanded its partner channel, which now includes the top 25 Healthcare IT technology vendors.

“CellTrak has grown by proving an innovative solution at the intersection of three significant trends: an aging population, the ubiquity of smart devices, and the use of technology to deliver information that improves the quality of care delivery while simultaneously reducing the cost to provide it,” said Mark Koulogeorge, Managing Director of venture-capital firm MK Capital and a CellTrak Board member. “Healthcare providers realize significant business value when they shift from paper- and IVR-based approaches to CellTrak’s mobile-first solution. The Board believes that Mark Battaglia’s leadership ability and software experience will enable CellTrak to extend its lead in this fast-growing space. We are excited to be increasing our financial commitment to CellTrak as it embarks on its next stage of expansion. ”

Battaglia has over 30 years experience in start-up and growth stage companies. Prior to joining CellTrak, he was CEO at ThinkVine, a marketing planning and optimization company. His previous experience includes executive roles in Marketing, Business Development and International Operations at software and information services companies serving the healthcare industry and leading SPSS BI division as President. He earned a BA from the College of William and Mary and an MBA from the University of Chicago Booth School of Business.

Battaglia replaces Michael K. Wons, who has led CellTrak for the past six years. Wons will continue as a Board Member and be an advisor to the company.
