Elite agency implements new VisitManager™ solution

Schaumburg, IL and Northport, NY (May 14, 2013) – CellTrak, the leading global provider of integrated mobile clinical solutions is pleased to announce that it has been chosen by New York based Visiting Nurse Service & Hospice of Suffolk (VNSHS) to provide the agency with its mobile technology software and that it has successfully completed the full roll-out.

Visiting Nurse Service & Hospice of Suffolk is a free standing not-for-profit home health care and hospice agency located in Northport, NY. The agency is no stranger to technology, as they have been utilizing Progresa as their electronic health record (EHR) software for nearly 10 years, and according to Jo Ann Quigley, Chief Operating Officer for VNSHS, was a deciding factor in selecting CellTrak.

“One of our goals was to find a mobile solution that would interface with Progresa, and CellTrak fit that need. We found the transition seamless and our field staff is thrilled with the ease of use.” She added that “Having a mobile solution gives our staff a paperless, time saving tool that ultimately leads to increased efficiency and more time with our patients.”

For the seventh consecutive year, VNSHS has been selected to the 2012 HomeCare Elite, a compilation of the top-performing home health agencies in the United States. The HomeCare Elite identifies the top 25 percent of Medicare certified agencies overall. Winners are ranked by an analysis of performance measures in quality outcomes, process measure implementation, patient experience, quality improvement, and financial performance.

Michael K. Wons, President and CEO of CellTrak Technologies added, “CellTrak would like to first congratulate Visiting Nurse Service & Hospice of Suffolk for their hard work, dedication and teamwork to be awarded the HomeCare Elite for the seventh time. Receiving this designation for the seventh year in a row represents true leadership in the homecare industry.” Wons added that “We are very excited to help VNSHS enable their vision of comprehensive care with our mobile solution platform. Their quick adoption and roll-out of the technology across the entire organization highlights another reason why they are continually recognized as a Homecare Elite provider.”

CellTrak eliminates inefficient, error-prone paper-based reporting processes, and provides automated patient specific care plans and visit records. Combined with GPS mileage monitoring and automated visit verification CellTrak automates workflow, improves compliance, reduces costs and helps improve outcomes at the point of care. This innovative approach to mobile health applications opens up a broad range of choices for Progresa clients, a product of the Procura family.
