JOB DESCRIPTION:

Employer is currently seeking an experienced Windows Systems Administrator to join its Network Operations Team to assist with the implementation, and maintenance of CellTrak’s corporate Network environment. This is a hands-on position, located in Schaumburg IL.

RESPONSIBILITIES WILL INCLUDE:

• Windows Server installation, configuration, and management
• Develop and maintain installation and configuration procedures
• Contribute to and maintain system standards
• Perform daily system monitoring, verifying the integrity & availability of all hardware, server resources, reviewing system and application logs, and completion of scheduled tasks (backups, preventive maintenance, etc.)
• Disaster recovery skills (hardware and/or software)
• Capable of responding to outages and incidents
• Execute scripting duties as assigned (VBS/PowerShell preferred)
• Troubleshooting network connectivity issues
• Install and support peripherals
• Support other equipment as required
• Onboard new PC's for new hires or PC Replacement
• Provide support for employees

REQUIRED SKILLS:

• 2+ years of experience with VMware (virtualization)
• 2+ years supporting Windows Server Operating System (OS) environment
• 2+ years of experience in Windows 10 installation and configuration
• 2+ years of experience with multiple VLAN routing
  
• Experience working in a network administration role
• Experience in Windows systems administration
• Experience in Environment monitoring
• Experience with Cisco CCNA and/or Palo Alto
• Experience with Cisco, Palo Alto firewalls and Cisco Switches
• Knowledge of Active Directory (including users & group Security permissions), TCP/IP Networking, DNS, DHCP & Group Policy Objects
• Server OS skills: Installation, standard usage, and troubleshooting of Windows Server 2012/2016
• Knowledge of VMware/ESXi/vCenter helpful
• Information Systems Architecture and Design
• Knowledge of storage concepts (SAN)
