Hospice care leader automates staff functions and reduces paperwork required to document home care visits with CellTrak
Schaumburg, IL (August 21, 2012) ‐ Caring Hospice has been providing hospice services since 1997 and currently provides Hospice services in New Jersey, Pennsylvania and New York via 6 offices.
Caring Hospice has been using homecare technologies for clinical and scheduling needs for several years. They were interested in further automation and reduction of the paperwork required to document home care visits and importantly were interested reducing their mileage reimbursement expenses as gas prices were hitting an all time high. Caring Hospice selected and implemented the new point‐of‐care visit manager solution from CellTrak™. For the mobile hospice care staff, Caring Hospice chose the robust Sanyo Pro GPS and LG Optimus enabled phone devices running on the Sprint network.
