CellTrak Awarded Patent for Mobile Technology in Healthcare

Schaumburg, IL (September 13, 2011) – CellTrak Technologies, Inc., a leading provider of integrated mobile solutions for the home healthcare, hospice, and private duty market segments in healthcare, today announced that the United States Patent and Trademark Office has issued Patent Number 8,019,622 to CellTrak. Titled “Home Health Point of Care and Administration System,” the 8,019,622 patent is directed to aspects of CellTrak’s mobile staff scheduling, tracking and travel management, electronic visit record and care plan administration, and communications systems.

First launched in 2006, the CellTrak mobile application for home and community care is widely used across North America by leading home healthcare, hospice, and private duty agencies. Today, tens of thousands of homecare professionals use the CellTrak solution to manage the care processes for more than 250,000 patients a day.
