Schaumburg, IL and Westmont, IL, 5/22/2013 - The Procura Group of Companies and CellTrak Technologies announced today that they have extended interface support to Procura's popular Progresa Health Systems product line. As part of the interface design, the Progresa System's Home Care and Hospice solutions will now securely transmit visit, relevant patient care plan, and related patient information to CellTrak's popular smart phone application. CellTrak then returns verified visits, mileage and expenses, care plan activity notes to Progresa as part of an Electronic Visit Verification (EVV) response.
"The CellTrak system is often used by Home Health Aides (HHA) and other staff whose clinical record keeping requirements are less complex than, say, an RN who does assessments," says Warren Brown, Procura's President, "We're pleased to extend our already successful CellTrak partnership to the Progresa product line."
"Progresa's clinical content is known to be among the best in Home Care," says Scott Overhill, Progresa's VP of Product Management, "By providing the Care Plan, that is created by the clinician within Progresa's ClinDoc™ system, via smart phone to HHAs we are able to 'close the loop' for multi-disciplinary communications and treatment compliance. By matching the most appropriate device to the user, the CellTrak feature set introduces operational efficiencies that lead to financial savings and improved outcomes by facilitating communications between the office and mobile health workers at the lowest possible cost."
"We are very excited to expand our relationship within the Procura family. Our Progresa interface has allowed for CellTrak to connect the clinicians in the office to the professional field staff. CellTrak can now provide Progresa clients with technological tools that will allow them to offer more options and choice to their clients," added Michael K. Wons, President and CEO of CellTrak Technologies, Inc.
